Out Of Hours

Whatever time of day, if a condition is life-threatening please dial 999.

In other situations, when the surgery is closed, for health problems and advice, patients are advised to contact NHS Services on 111. (This is a free call even from mobiles as long as you have 1p credit). The service is provided by South East Coast ambulance Service and Care UK).

NHS East Surrey CCG is responsible for commissioning the Out-Of-Hours (OOH) medical service.

The 111 service provides telephone advice. However, if following the initial telephone assessment it is necessary for you to see a Doctor or nurse face to face then an appointment will be arranged with the Integrated Care Ltd OOH service (IC24).  This is only for urgent problems which will not wait until the surgery is next open.

There is an Accident & Emergency Department at the East Surrey Hospital, Redhill. This is a district general hospital and can be contacted on 01737 768511

There is also another a walk-in centre (urgent treatment centre) at the Crawley Hospital which can be contacted on 01293 600300 ext 4141.
